It is amazing how good you feel when aren’t sweating all the time :).
This week was great!!! My son is called Elder José Luis Vasquez Davila, from Boaco, Nicaragua!!!!
He is 21 and is so great, I love him so much.
I’m trying to be a good daddy and teach him what he needs to know.
We have had some good lessons that were really spiritual and it was so cool to watch Elder Vasquez teach a little and then look at me with a little lost look on his face. He rocks!!!!!
We are the missionaries in Quiñones Branch, and Chinchaysuyo Ward, and yesterday we were in the chapel for about 8 hours!!! We also had to do Informes on the wards,(thats why we were there for so long.)
We also had a fireside with Elder Jay Jensen of the Presidency of the Seventy. It was really great, and the spirit was there teaching me. We read in D&C 138 about how we had received teaching before this life. GTG
LOVE YOU MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!! well I don’t think I can respond to everything that you told me... jaja
Yes I do know Elder Evans, he is the best!!! He rocks!
Also I am leaving Pucallpa!!!
This Wednesday are changes, and I am going to Tahuantinsuyo in Lima! On Wednesday I also finish nine months and am going to have a son!!!!!! I’m going to train!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!
My week was good!!!! We had four baptisms on Saturday; Hermana Isabel Lam, her son Leopoldo Arquero, her daughter Jemimah Keren, and Nilo Cabrera. It was cool, I got to baptize Leopoldo, and Jemimah. Elder Pérez baptized the other two. She was so happy and also invited us to eat in her house tonight, I hope it’s good!! jajajaja She is an amazing woman that loves to learn!!!
Yesterday we went to visit a reference of a family that their son had visited the church, and the mom had prayed for God to send a sign to her to help her be better and to change. She told us that we were her sign, it was pretty cool to be “God-sent”. :)
Also last night we contacted José in the street and he was thinking about his life and what he could do better, and had made the resolution to change his life, I was a little amazed, we taught, he listened and I felt really strongly to tell him basically that chances don’t exist and that he needed what we have. It was cool and we are going to teach him again tonight.
Well I love you all tons!!!! It’s true!!!

De la Selva de PERÜ!!!!!!!
Well this week we had a baptism!! His name is Pablo Murrieta, and he is 17 and lives in the apartments next to us. It was really cool in his baptism because he bore his testimony and said that he had found two friends that showed him that God really does care about him.
I also talked in church Sunday about “The effects of a Righteous Woman” and talked about the things that I remembered Mom teaching me. Also we had two families that assisted church and one of them is going to be baptized this Saturday!!!!!! woo hooooooo
Families are the best!!!!!!! ( I love everybody, but it’s cool to see a family get baptized!)
Also this week we got to go to Lima to listen to Elder Gavarret, a Seventy, speak. That was pretty cool, and then after I talked to his wife, and she was so nice!
We then ate pizza in the airplane and came home to Pucallpa. Elder Evans put his papers in his backpack and sent it as luggage and couldn’t board his plane, so they got left behind and came the day after at 5 in the morning. :) It was kind of stressful for a little while when we found out, but it all turned o.k.
Yesterday we were in the house of an investigator, and her house got flooded and we had to leave in the flood, so we rolled up our pants and walked out and got muddy, it was pretty interesting!! I looked out one minute and the water wasn’t too high and then two minutes later it was coming in her house!! crazy!
When we were in Lima we ate with some Elders and the Sister gave us fried fish, and then spaghetti, salad, grapes, a weird fruit from the jungle, and bananas and juice!!! I was way full!!!!!
It was kind of funny because she just kept coming with food!!!!!
We all just kept looking at each other thinking ‘where is all of this coming from?’
Well Love for all!!! Have a great week!!!!!
Love Elder Johnson!!!!!!!!!!

Hey!!!!!!!!!!!
Well the name of my Comp is Hector Giovanni Pérez Monterroso
I am so great!!!!!!!!
This week we had interviews with President Pérez and they went good, but I was feeling sad the day after and I was talking with my comp about what we could do better and he told me about his conversion, because I was feeling down. He was my “angel” like Nephi had in 2 Nephi 4, ( I also read here with him and the spirit we had there was special). It was a really special experience.
We also had a baptism on Saturday of Tracy. She is a single mother and has a daughter that looks like Kimberly. :) She is great and is trying to finish her school up.
This week was great, we had the spirit with us in teaching and I learned a lot, and we also found a family that wants to be baptized that was really prepared. We also found another family that wants to be baptized that isn’t married, so we are working with them. :) I love teaching families! They rock!!!!
We are going to Lima tonight!!!! For a training/fireside/practice thing with Elder Gavarret, a Seventy from Uruguay or Paraguay. I will tell you about it next week. :)
Well, I know that this is the only true and living church on the face of the earth, and it’s living because we have a living God, living Prophets, and we have been newly reborn. It Is True, I know it, God knows I know it and not only can’t deny it, but I Will Not Deny it!
I love you all tons!!!!! I hope that you all have an amazing week!!!!!!
Happy Mothers Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well this week was really good!!!!!!
We worked way hard all week and we saw the blessings, :) We have so many people that we are teaching and it is crazy all the information I have in my head right now, names, addresses, it rocks!! Time is passing soooooo quickly and I am always surprised when we reach Sunday again. :)
We had too many experiences and I don’t know where to start!
Monday we played Voliebol! It was so hot!!!!! and then we cleaned in our apartment and taught. Tuesday we had District meeting, and taught. Wednesday, we taught. Thursday we had weekly planning, and taught. Friday we had service washing motos, and taught, it was 45 degrees Fahrenheit! (Centigrade?) Saturday, we taught. Sunday, we had church and I tried comforting a drunk and yeah- that was interesting. Today I am so happy that I have this gospel!!!!!
We also got to bear testimony of the Plan a lot this week. The plan of Salvation is the best!!!!!!! I’m so grateful that our Heavenly Father planned ahead and that now we can receive so many blessings if we follow His plan. I bear testimony that He sent His only Begotten Son to be our Savior and our Redeemer, and that if we follow Him and keep His commandments we will return to live with our Father in Heaven.
I love you all tons. Choose the Right!!!!! :)

Hola!!!!!!! From Under The Equator and IN THE SELVA!!!!!!! WOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Translation- Well, this week was so cool!!! We have eight investigators that came to church yesterday, and we are teaching four people that have dates set for their baptisms. Really, I am so happy and content with all of the blessings that I have from my Heavenly Father.
Really this week was great!!!!! On Tuesday I received two packages!!!! For Valentines day and for Easter!!! Thanks Tons!!!! They were great, I loved the talk that you gave and everything else. I am a little sad right now because I left my tape player in Lima, and I can’t listen to the three tapes that I have!!!!! :( but at least when I get to Lima I will have something to listen to. :)
This week on Wednesday we were walking to lunch and I had been thinking “how can we have more success, and find families to teach?” And the thought came to fast. So I invited my companion and we started to fast after lunch. We finished on Thursday, and Friday we were in the street and we started talking to a lady (Ayda) that had a hurt foot. We then taught her and her husband (Walter) and they accepted to be baptized the eighth of May!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was awesome to teach them about the Plan of Salvation because they had lost a daughter and two sons, and they can live with them again. They also joined us in church and liked it a lot, and we are going to teach them again tonight. :)
We are doing great!! No, we don’t eat mostly potatoes, we eat mostly rice :) jajajajaja, and chicken jajajajaja and every once in a while, noodles or green spaghetti. It’s good!
Our area is a little bigger than Pleasant View, in the center, and then we also have about 8 Km of the Central street that has streets that lead off on dirt roads. We also have the airport in my area. I’m healthy, working and walking every day helps!!!! :)
I love you all tons!!!!! Have a great week, and don’t give up!!!!!!! Hold to the rod, and follow the plan God has prepared for every one of us. I know that God loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son. I am so grateful to Him for that!!
Love much, Elder Joe Johnson

Hola!
Wow this week was cool. My new companion is Elder Pérez from Guatemala City, Guatemala!!!!! He is 24, short, and very soft spoken, but is a great Elder and we are working way hard, and seeing miracles.
We contacted John Patterson Infante in the street. He listened to the missionaries a while ago and told us that he would like to learn more about the church. So yesterday at 1 p.m. we visited him and he was so ready to receive the gospel!!!!! It was awesome!!!!!!
We also have seen many miracles through the references that the members give us. I want to challenge all of you to give a reference to the missionaries!!!!!! Be a good friend and share the most important thing you have, some thing that offers the salvation! The Gospel of Jesus Christ!
I KNOW that there is a loving God and that He loves us and He wants the best for His children, to return to His presence. This is why He gave His Only Begotten Son, why He calls prophets, and why we need the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And all of this is because He loves us.
I love my Savior and know He LIVES!!!!!!! With Every Fiber of My Being I know that God sent His Son to pay the price for my sins, He saves us if we exercise Faith in Him.
I love you all so much!!!
Elder Gregory Joseph Johnson
